‘Prunus Cerasus Morellenfeuer’ is a delicious cherry variety with a sour taste. The cherry tree blooms in April with white flowers. Around July the dark red fruits with long stems can be picked. The cherries can only be stored for a short time, so they are particularly suitable for direct consumption. You can also use them as jam, juice or as a garnish for ice cream, cakes and desserts. They contain many carbohydrates, calcium and vitamin C. The cherry tree grows in almost any soil. However, it is important that the soil is sufficiently moist and rich in nutrients. Plant the cherry tree in a sunny spot, so that the cherries get sufficient sunlight. Prune the tree after harvesting. Prune new branches that are not part of the tree crown. Do you see branches that cross each other? Then cut back one of them. Are there any branches on which there were no cherries this year? Prune them back to the trunk.
