Pleioblastus Variegatus’ is a low-growing evergreen dwarf bamboo. With its unique leaves, it adds a beautiful touch to your garden. The leaves are unique because of the narrow elongated shape with narrow creamy-white stripes and olive-green stems. The stripes are best seen in spring. This bamboo likes a sheltered position in full sun and preferably in moist soil. Pleioblastus Variegatus’ is fairly Hardy. During severe frosts the leaves may curl up a little, but in spring this bamboo will look beautiful again soon enough!
