Miscanthus sinensis ‘Adagio’
Miscanthus sinensis ‘Adagio’ is a medium-sized ornamental grass. He becomes about 140 to 160 cm high. The ornamental grass has narrow grey-green leaves which turn yellow in the autumn. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Adagio’ flowers from September to November, with pink-white panicles which turn silver-white later in the season, when the seed ripens. The panicles remain on the plant until winter. This ornamental grass is Hardy and evergreen and is therefore a colourful addition to both your autumn and winter garden. Miscanthus sinensis’ usually looks best standing alone. Especially on the edge of a pond or lawn. This plant is resistant to salty winds and can therefore be placed in coastal gardens. It is a strong plant and prefers moist soil in full sun or semi shade.
