Jasminum nudiflorum

This Jasminum is a unique climber, thanks to its flowering in the winter period. In January and February numerous yellow flowers appear on the then bare branches. A very cheerful sight, at a time when hardly anything else in the garden is in bloom. The Jasminum is not a self-climbing climber with twining branches or adhesive roots. The plant belongs to the category of ‘espalier plants’ and is happy to be led in the desired direction. This does mean, however, that you will have to tie your jasmine back regularly along a rack or fence. Good pruning is also important to keep the plant in good shape.
