After one year, this Helleborus reaches a maximum height of 40-50 cm and is then suitable to be cut for the home as a cut flower!
When it freezes, the Helleborus draws the moisture out of its leaves and flower for protection. This causes her to droop temporarily. When it gets above zero again, you will see that the Christmas rose will stand up proudly again.
