Clematis Miss Bateman

Clematis miss Bateman’ is a large flowers clematis that produces beautiful white flowers and is therefore a real eye-catcher in the garden. This strong variety flowers twice a year. The first flowering is around May-June and the second flowering is between July and September. After the clematis has flowered for the first time, it is best to prune it back so that it will flower again for the second time. Its neat and compact growth makes this climber suitable for both large and small gardens. After a number of years, the clematis will reach a height of around 2 to 3 metres. In order for the clematis to climb better, it needs a little help. The best way is to guide the plant upwards along a rack, wire or stick. The clematis does well in the half-shadow as well as in the sun. This makes a clematis suitable for most places in your garden, which is very handy! ij more sun, the clematis will flower more abundantly. The roots of the clematis do need to be in the shade and cool. Make sure that there is always something growing in front of the foot of the plant or plant the clematis deeper into the ground, about 10 cm deeper than the height of the root ball.
