Clematis Boulevard® Parisienne™ Evipo019
A very special Clematis that blooms all summer long from May to September with its large purple umbels. Already in the first year you can enjoy an oasis of flowers. Unlike most Clematis species that flower for 1-2 months, ‘Parisienne Boulevard’ can be enjoyed for up to 5 months. The ‘Parisienne’ will grow to a maximum height of 180 cm against a pergola or climbing screen. This compact clematis prefers a spot in the semi-shade to sun. The best results are achieved when the plant is placed in the morning sun and/or in the evening sun. Because the ‘Parisienne Boulevard’ is a compact variety, it can also be used in a pot on a balcony or terrace or even in a hanging basket. In order for the Clematis to climb better, it needs a little help. It is best to guide the plant up along a rack, wire or stick. Pruning is not necessary. However, remove dead and damaged twigs in early March. You can prune this Clematis back to a maximum of 20 centimetres above the ground in the spring.
