Calamagrostis x acutiflora ‘Karl Foester’
Calamagrostis acutiflora ‘Karl Foerster’ is a popular straight upright ornamental grass with narrow green leaves that droop slightly. The decorative panicles appear around June – August and colour from white to golden yellow as the season progresses. The ornamental grass likes a place in full sun and the soil cannot be wet enough for it. Regular watering in a dry summer will therefore be rewarded. The plant is quite Hardy.
