They can be picked from mid-July to mid-August. Fresh blueberries can be kept for a week and you can also freeze them. The blueberry blooms in clusters and the flower is white-cream to pink in colour. Flowering takes place in the first half of May. This plant is completely self-pollinating and requires almost no care. The berries are not very attractive to birds, but sometimes covering the plants may still be necessary.
