Clematis armandii
The Hardy Clematis Armandii is a small-flowering Clematis that flowers already in the first year. The Armandii is known for its wonderfully fragrant white flowers. A special feature of this Clematis is that it is one of the few that remain green in winter. The plant therefore retains its ornamental value throughout the year. The elongated, glossy green leaves are very elegant and with its abundance of fragrant flowers you can smell spring early in your garden. Does well in sun / half shade. It is best to prune the Armandii immediately after flowering. This species can grow about 2 to 3 metres per year.
