Campsis Summer Jazz Fire Trumpet’ is a winter-hardy Chinese trumpet which flowers abundantly and for a longer time when there is a lot of sun. The red-flowered Campsis grows more compactly than other species in the Summer Jazz series, up to 3 metres high. The late-summer bloomer tends to form a shrub. If you want your Campsis to climb, it is useful to support it with a climbing frame at the beginning of its growth. This Campsis is a self-adhesive climber, which means that small adhesive roots are formed from the branches. These adhesive roots will attach themselves along the wall or fence. In August and September you can expect the exotic flowers that will give your outdoor area a Mediterranean atmosphere. The trumpet-shaped bloomer appreciates a sheltered spot and pruning in spring.
