Fargesia Murielae Winter Black’ is a sturdy not rampant bamboo. The leaves have a very fine structure and the bamboo stems turn black in the winter. Hence its name ‘Winter Black’. It is a very strong and hardy bamboo and has few requirements in terms of location. It grows in any type of soil, both in the sun and in the shade.
